Vilin & Ruances Apartments in San Cassiano, Alta Badia, enjoy a quiet location in the district of Costadedoi, well connected to the main tourist attractions. The centre of San Cassiano, lined with shops, bars, restaurants and featuring a rich program of events, is just 1 km away and can be easily reached on foot in some 10-15 minutes along the new sidewalk, wide and illuminated in the evening (perfectly suitable for prams and strollers). Numerous summer hikes and winter walks can be started right from the house doors.

The road that connects San Cassiano to La Villa, making part of the Maratona dles Dolomites and of the Giro d’Italia, passes approximately 80 m away – far enough for a pleasant immersion into the Alpine tranquillity, yet quite close for moving by car, by bike or by public transport. Our location is a perfect compromise between the isolation of nature and the hustle of a tourist centre.

The arrival is easy in both summer and winter. To avoid the passes of the Dolomites, take the state road of the Puster Valley (SS49) and turn at St. Lorenzen / San Lorenzo di Sebato (next to Brunico) to the state road of the Badia Valley (SS244), following it till La Villa, where you will find an exit towards San Cassiano. Whenever your itinerary lies over the nearby passes of the Dolomites (Gardena Pass, Campolongo Pass, Falzarego Pass and Valparola Pass), we invite you to check their opening on the website of the Province of Bolzano or on the appropriate signposts along the road.
